DESCRIPTION OF SOFTWARE
The Software is a browser plug-in that provides functionality that auto-completes search queries, suggests alternative queries via Yahoo! Search Suggestions technology, and delivers instant web results in the browser chrome as you type. The Software personalizes web results for you, and lets you add search engines with customized keyboard shortcuts to create a complete search experience optimized for you.
Auto-Updates.
Safari for Mac OS X. Yahoo! will notify you when updated versions of the Software are available. To opt-out or opt-in to this feature, go to the “Preferences” menu option and select the “Search” tab. Click the check box next to “Automatically check for new versions.”
Microsoft Internet Explorer version 7 or higher for Windows. Updates to the Software are distributed automatically and will take effect at the next browser restart after the udpate is issued. To opt-out or opt-in to this feature, type any keystroke in the browser search box and select "Search Options" at the bottom of the Inquisitor drop-down in the chrome. Click the checkbox next to "Automatically check for new versions."
Firefox version 2 or higher for Mac and Windows. Yahoo will notify you through the browser when a Software update is available. These notifications are controlled by the browser. In order to make any changes you will need to adjust your browser preferences.
How to Uninstall.
Safari for Mac OS X.
Navigate to your hard drive device
Select the Library folder
Select InputManager folder
Delete the Inquisitor folder
Microsoft Internet Explorer version 7 or higher for Windows.
Select Control Panel from the Start menu
Select Add/Remove Programs
Select “Inquisitor for Internet Explorer”
Select Remove
Firefox version 2 or higher for Mac and Windows.
In the Firefox menu, select "Tools" in the menu bar
Select Add-ons in drop down
Select Inquisitor in the list of Add-ons
Select Uninstall
Restart browser
