http://info.yahoo.com/privacy/uk/all/1 - Customization of the Mobile homepageYahoo’s mobile homepage lets users store preferences like their location, safe search settings, and favorite widgets. Yahoo! will associate these choices with a Yahoo! ID or the mobile device and you can edit these preferences at any time. If you set mobile homepage preferences but choose not to sign in to Yahoo!, you can clear these preferences by clicking the Clear Preference link in the Legal menu in the footer on the mobile home page and Yahoo! will reset them.
2 - Mobile Device Unique IdentifierWhen connecting to Yahoo! via a service provider that uniquely identifies your mobile device, Yahoo! may receive this identification and use it to offer extended services and/or functionality. Certain Yahoo! services (eg SMS alerts) may require our collection of your phone number. We may associate that phone number to the mobile device identification information. However, we will not use that phone number for telemarketing unless you have given us permission to do so.

3 - Physical Location
Yahoo! obtains your consent (an opt-in) before using information from pinpointing technology such as GPS and cell tower information. You will be able to withdraw your consent (opt-out) for the use of such information by Yahoo! at any time – refer to in-product notice. Yahoo! may use and store this information, in combination with other location-based information such as IP address, billing postal code provided by your carrier or registration location, to provide enhanced location based services, serve location-targeted advertising, search results, and other content. You can choose to make your current location data available to a third party widget developer by giving Yahoo! permission to share this data.

4 - Use of Information
Yahoo! does not rent, sell, or share your personal information with
other people or non affiliated companies, except to offer products or
services you've requested, or under the following circumstances:
We provide the information to trusted partners who work on behalf
of or with Yahoo! under confidentiality agreements. These companies may
use your personal information to help Yahoo! communicate with you about
offers from Yahoo! and our marketing partners. However, these companies
do not have any independent right to share this information.
- We are acquired by or merged with another company. In this event,
Yahoo! will notify you before your information is transferred and
subject to a different privacy policy.

5 - Legal Process
Yahoo! believes it must share information to investigate, prevent, or
take action against illegal activities, suspected fraud, emergency
situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any
person, or violations of Yahoo!'s Terms of Service or as required by
law. We share information in response to subpoenas, court orders, or
legal process, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend
against legal claims.

6 - Account Information and Preferences
You can edit your Yahoo! account information, including your marketing
preferences, on a computer at any time. If you're not logged in,
service limitations may prevent you from accessing the full
functionality of Yahoo! services or tools while using mobile devices.
In that case, you may need to use a computer to connect to Yahoo!.
BACK7 - WidgetsYahoo! shares some information with third party mobile widgets. If you add a third party widget, we will share information such as your country, preferred language, your mobile carrier, device type and browser type if we have it in order to facilitate the provision of the widget. Third party widgets may also set cookies. You can choose to make your current location data available to a third party widget developer by giving Yahoo! permission to share this data. Please note that third parties’ use of cookies, information that is provided to them and your use of third party widgets, is subject to their own privacy policies, and not the Yahoo! Privacy Policy or the Yahoo! Mobile Devices Privacy Policy.
