- Yahoo! Autos allows you to store details about one or more cars you own, including mileage, auto maintenance records and sales ads.
- You may choose for Yahoo! Autos to email oil change reminders for your cars.
- Yahoo! Autos also allows you to store details about cars you are interested in purchasing.
- This is available to registered users only.
Information Sharing and Disclosure Practices
- Quotes
- Yahoo! works with dealers and dealer networks to provide you with quotes for new cars. If you choose to receive these quotes, information collected during the process will be shared with the dealers or dealer networks.
- Warranties
- Yahoo! Autos provides a form to enable a third party warranty provider to work with you to provide you a quote for an extended warranty available through the third party's warranty programs. Personally identifiable information collected on the form will be shared with that third party and you will be directed to their site when you submit your query.
- Credit Reports
- Offers for credit reports on Yahoo! Autos are made by ConsumerInfo.com, an Experian company. ConsumerInfo.com collects personal information from you to verify your identity and provide the credit reports offered. Yahoo! will not receive any of that information.
Practices Regarding Your Ability to Update or Delete Information
- You can edit or delete mileage, service records, or any other information about cars listed in your My Autos Center.
- To stop receiving email reminders, click on the "Remove e-mail reminder" link from the auto profile page.
