Fire Eagle shares your location information with services and applications that you have chosen and authorized. Your location information is obtained from services or applications that you have authorized to interact with Fire Eagle.
Information Collection and Use Practices
Fire Eagle stores the most recent location information received from the services or applications you have authorized to update Fire Eagle – from both the PC or a mobile device. The level of detail or accuracy of the location information used to update Fire Eagle depends on your service or application.
You can view the services or applications authorized to update your location, the location updated, and the time passed since your location was last updated at the My Locations page.
You choose the services and applications Fire Eagle is authorized to share your location information with and you choose the specificity of the shared location data for each of those applications. Specificity levels may include levels of detail such as: as exactly as possible, postal code, city, region, neighborhood, state or country.
If you authorize an application to obtain your location data from Fire Eagle, you can change specificity of location data available to the application at any time from the My Applications tab.
In connection with your use of Fire Eagle applications, Fire Eagle may send you an e-mail periodically which asks if you want to continue sharing or updating your location information. If you do not indicate that you want to continue sharing or updating your location information, your Fire Eagle applications or services will be suspended and your location information will no longer be shared or updated with your authorized applications or services. However, you can reactivate your authorized application(s) by returning to the Fire Eagle website.
Please note that any information that we have copied may remain in back-up storage for some period of time after your deletion request. This may be the case even though no information about your account remains in our active user databases.
The Yahoo! computers (called "servers") that send your web pages and advertising banners process and store an enormous amount of information every day. These computer records are called "log files". Log files are used for analysis, research, auditing, and other purposes, as described above. After this information has been used, it is stored and is inaccessible.
