Yahoo! Phone Card
Yahoo! Phone Card provides you with the ability to pay for calls made through the Call Center of Yahoo! Messenger and calls made through 1-800-44-YAHOO. In order to use Yahoo! Phone Card, you must be a registered Yahoo! user.
Information Collection and Use
- When you sign up for the Yahoo! Phone Card service, we ask you to choose a 10-digit Yahoo! account number. This account number is required to use your Phone Card when placing a call through 1-800-44-YAHOO. You do not need to establish a 10-digit account number to place calls through the Call Center of Yahoo! Messenger.
- For additional security, we ask you to establish a 4-digit PIN number. You are asked to enter this number when you make a call with your Phone Card through 1-800-44-YAHOO.
Information Sharing and Disclosure Practices
- Yahoo! works with Net2Phone to provide you with the Yahoo! Phone Card service. Like any telephone company, Net2Phone collects call detail records, including the telephone number you called, call duration, time, date, and toll call rate. This information is used to bill you for your calls. You can access this information within your Yahoo! Phone Card account information pages. Yahoo! also has access to this information.
- Net2Phone collects your billing information and auto-recharge preferences so they can bill you for calls and process your request to add funds to your Yahoo! Phone Card. Yahoo! may also have access to this information.
- Net2Phone also reports aggregate usage information to Yahoo!. Net2Phone uses this information to provide and improve the Yahoo! Phone Card service.
- To completely exit from your Yahoo! Phone Card account, you will need to either use the "Sign Out" link on the Yahoo! Phone Card pages or close your browser. By not doing either of those, the account information for your Yahoo! Phone Card may remain accessible to others using the same computer.
Practices Regarding Your Ability to Update or Delete Information
- You can choose to add a set amount of money to your account, and you can choose whether or not you want your Yahoo! Phone Card automatically recharged every time the balance reaches an amount that you specify. You can change this preference at any time.
