Yahoo! Points is free program that lets you redeem prizes for using and shopping on Yahoo!. You must be a Yahoo! registered user and enroll in the Yahoo! Points program in order to participate in Yahoo! Points.

- When you redeem Yahoo! Points for electronic gift certificates, we will send you a redemption code to the email address that you specify. Unless we tell you otherwise, Yahoo! will not share your personally identifiable information with the provider merchant accepting the code.
Information Sharing and Disclosure Practices
- Bidding on Merchandise
- In order to bid for merchandise using your points, you must have a valid shipping address on record at Yahoo!. If you win a points auction, Yahoo! shares your shipping information and email address with the vendor, so that the vendor can send you the prize and contact you.
- Yahoo! Visa Card and Points
- If you are approved for a Yahoo! Visa card, First USA will share certain information with Yahoo! in order to establish a link between the accounts.
- First USA will then update Yahoo! periodically with a dollar amount that reflects the spending activity on your Yahoo! Visa card. This way we can make sure you get one Yahoo! point for every dollar you spend using your Yahoo! Visa card.
- FirstUSA sends this information to Yahoo! in an encrypted and secure format.
- Your spending details and Visa Card Number are not transferred to Yahoo!.
- Earning Points on Partner's Sites
- If you take advantage of an offer to earn Yahoo! Points by visiting an advertiser or promotion sponsor's web site, that partner will use web beacons to allow Yahoo! to reward you for your visit or action.
