• eRealty

  • eRealty and Yahoo! Realty, Inc., collect and share personal information to provide the real estate brokerage service in select metropolitan areas including Houston, Texas; Austin, Texas; Dallas, Texas; Boston, Massachusetts; Washington D.C.; San Diego, California; and more.   • When registering for the real estate brokerage service, eRealty asks for your name and email address in order to acknowledge that you have read and received the eRealty Terms of Use.
  • When you register with eRealty, you may choose to receive the Insights newsletter from eRealty. You can unsubscribe from the Insights newsletter by clicking on the "unsubscribe" link from within each email.
  • When you request to schedule a tour of a home or property, eRealty asks you for your day or evening telephone number and preferred time. They also ask additional questions relating to the purchase or selling of a home.
  • If you choose to save a property to My Real Estate, you will be sent email regarding price and status changes relating to that property.
  • Certain personal information will also be shared between eRealty and Yahoo! Realty, Inc., if you purchase a home through the eRealty service. This information will be used for administrative purposes.

• zipRealty
  • zipRealty and Yahoo! Realty, Inc., collect and share personal information to provide the real estate brokerage service in select metropolitan areas including San Francisco, California; Sacramento, California; Phoenix, Arizona; Seattle, Washington; and more.   • When registering for the real estate brokerage service, zipRealty asks for your name, email address, home telephone number, and work telephone number in order to acknowledge that you have read and received the zipRealty Terms of Use. This information is also used to contact you and provide you with the service. You may opt-out of being contacted by zipRealty regarding your home search by following the instructions within the initial confirmation email.
  • If you choose to save a search, you will receive new listings via email from zipRealty that match your search criteria. If you do not wish to receive new listings via email, select "No Alert" on the Save My Search page. You may also unsubscribe from the listings emails at any time by following the instructions at the bottom of the email.
  • When you schedule a visit online, we ask for the telephone number at which you prefer to be contacted regarding your request.
  • If you choose to make an offer, you will need to provide information regarding the property you wish to purchase, your telephone number, offer amount, down payment amount, when you would like to close, loan officer's name, and lender's name and telephone number. You will also need to indicate whether you need to sell a property to complete the purchase and, if so, the address of the property you need to sell, the listing broker of the property, the escrow number, the name of the escrow company, and the closing date. The information you provide at this stage, after consultation with your agent, will be incorporated into a purchase agreement by zipRealty to be presented to the seller of the property or their agent.
  • Certain personal information will also be shared between zipRealty and Yahoo! Realty, Inc., if you purchase a home through the zipRealty service. This information will be used for administrative purposes.

Practices Regarding Your Ability to Update or Delete Information

• You can update your contact information by clicking on the "Edit Contact Information" link from within Yahoo! Realty.
